Actually im going to do some mods too, today. Making the body part shorter so theres more room for a bigger drum!

Haven`t done the bigger drum yet, but gave some more volts to the weapon motor and the thing is crazy now. Log like in the video flyes 3-5m

Bigger drum is almost ready!! Added second motor too! I got a 4.5x2.5m arena almost built too!

Some pics later in evening. Miniroll is starting to look supernice with a bigger drum!

Miniroll weights 5600g without the battery and drum teeth/bars - so It needs to loose a little weight somewhere. New sidepanels are cut out and holes are drilled, going to fit them soon.

Very nice Mart, the larger tube for the drum looks much better

Yeah I think it's kind of like the old school car park battles. Not battling in an arena in a venue in front of an audience, just battling where there's space and/or where a makeshift arena can be thrown together. A bit underground scene-esque.
Our loft's not big enough sadly to put something like this in it, plus I'm sure my parents would object to all the thumps coming through the ceiling :P

Hi, tested the miniroll drum without teeth.

With one motor, spin up is a bit slower but it has more speed.
