orrion did well at it first event we puntured pucks tire and then proceded to flip him oota incredibly no major cock ups on our part but we did lose a chain after behemoth slamed us against a wall, but with some help from shane and pete lale, and rob and gilbert grim, oh and i think joey as well :P we manged to get the chain back on, also the hight ajusting foot snapped off, but thats not essntial so we left that untill after the event, we are now waiting for some screws to reattach it. there has also i slightly bent pneumatic ram for one of the side righters, thats why we couldnt self right in our first melee, but we fixed that with the help of rob and a great big hammer :P

new feather on the way, it looks a bit like black hole (as seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqfF0xso ... re=related) uses two stainless steel blades for the disks and a wheelchair motor (minus gearbox) for the weapon motor, its made of polycarb with some wooden bulkheads (which will be upgraded to steel of hdpe) theres also some carbon fibre and some rubber to protect some of the more vital parts, it uses 2 drill motors for drive, and a team thants esc, im not sure what il use for my batterys, any sugestions,plz keep in mind though that i have quite a small budget :P

im aiming to get this done for the new year

spinner mech is done, just need to hook up the motor and belts too it, oh and build the rest of the rob ot too put it in :P

Those disks won't engage, they're cut off wheels. To get anthing effective out of them you'll want really high RPM and even then you'll just be throwing sparks.

what size are those discs? I have some ally discs u can have to make proper discs those will shatter and were banned by robot wars not sure if the FRA allows them will have to check
