Regarding the idea of the pilgrim being used for combat I don't think so it's too fragile!
By the way I think the team that built and runs warhead (the best spinner on earth), are the old razor team from the UK.
They are, 2, mind bogglingly fantastic machines, in a 5 year span.
Hi
I have just adjusted the speed of the walker, I've removed a driven sprocket 30 tooth and replaced with a 19 tooth this has increased the walking from 56 rpm at the crank too 88rpm making the speed a manic 1.75 mph. For this weekend I will be fitting the Sidewinder (from Tron) speed controller, as the sabertooth failed! And is now back with Technobots. I am hoping Ian will soon have the Wotty 100 ready soon.
It was the only video of Pilgrim I took, and the light was awful I thought some contemplative guitar based music would work quite well, and take everyone's mind off my bad filming :
So speaking as a father of eight kids I don't know what you€™re talking about
Pilgrim is in Ireland this weekend with Ian and Mike at the Toys 4 big boys event, I hope to have some pictures of Pilgrim at the event to post when they get back.
The speed controller (sabertooth) has not returned from Technobots yet, and the Sidewinder is running things for Pilgrim at the moment, I am hoping to fit a new Wotty 100 into it soon, this will free up the Sidewinder for other projects.
I will soon have an A1 size poster frame (Portrait style) to fit on to the robot so it can do some advertising work soon.
The thing oneday may even earn me some money.
I will really be looking forward to seeing it again, I don't yet know if Pilgrim will be there or not at the moment, I have promised it to Alan from Robots live for that weekend but if he dose not want it then it will be at Maidstone and
THE RACE IS ON!!!
