Figure I might as well stick a placeholder here - for the guys that I haven't been talking to, I am building a new FW!
It's a welded 6-4 titanium chassis with exterior UHMWPE armour and a sprung front wedge, moved around by a pair of 550 size motors through a pair of Syren ESCs. Batteries are A123s though I may upgrade to lipo at some point once I verify that the ones I would want to use will be suitable./
...Oh, did I mention the 95cm 4kg overhead horizontal spinning bar? :twisted:
All designs are now finished, I just need to get the weapon gearbox finished off and the shaft machined and hardened, then the chassis can be lasercut + welded and assembly should be pretty fast after that.
