  • Flange's Solenoid Valve?

I'm sure most of you are familiar with Flange:

I'm wondering what solenoid he's using to hold back full pressure co2.
In this thread he mentions (not sure if jokingly) that it's a gravy valve. http://www.fightingrobots.co.uk/thre...ight=pneumatic

Any idea what specific valve it is and where I can pick one up? Or a similar lightweight full pressure valve.

    Its a Nitrous Solenoid Valve

Thanks! That certainly narrows it down
However, most of these that I have found would weigh about half of the entire robot. Do you happen to know any more details?
So unfortunate that the label is smudged off on the solenoid.

It will be a nitrous purge valve, they are used to chill and unblock a nitrous system by venting to air, so they dont need to be big, you will after email a few manufactures to get dimensions and weights, it will be a usa based company i would think
