Dimension rules

What are the rules on dimensions for beetle weights I can only see the weight limit listed in the rules and no mention of dimensions.

Rule is basically "Can you fit it in through the entry door?"

If the answer is no.... well the problem is obvious :P

Okay next stupid question without having been to an event yet how big is the entry door?

im not looking to build a massive beetle, what would some recommended dimensions be, I'm looking to make a 4wd beetle so want to make the most of the size

I think if you keep it below a meter itll be fine, however id need to double check if that applies to all arenas.

You could put most Beetles on an A4 piece of paper and they wouldn't go outside that area. There are obviously exceptions but they are around that size while being about 50mm tall, or greater depending on the design.

I was just going to ask this same question! I might have to do a bit of jiggering with my design in that case, it is about 380mm long at the moment (I think, don't have the drawing to hand).

It's come up in a few beetleweight threads, have you tried searching? A 20cm square would fit most beetles.
