Newbww question

I am just about to start my first robot build and was looking to keep things simple and build a wedge as a first effort. My question is if I leave the thin end actually on the floor is it likely to get stuck on the arena floor when driving forwards ie under a screw head or something or is the floor pretty flat

The floor of the 2 main BW arenas is sheet steel, no screws. There are joins but since most robots run their front edge on the ground its something everyone has to deal with.

The pit in both arena's does create a lip too but just keep that in mind when fighting and you should be fine.
