I've tried 2 x tinyEsc v2 (3A max) driving 4 x 25mm 1000rpm motors (~6A stall@12V each) with grippy tires and unsurprisingly they got hot and went into thermal shutdown very quickly. I'm now using 2 x Botbitz 10A with the same drive setup (on Paradigm) with no problems, though they still get pretty warm. At Wolverhampton I burnt up the Botbitz 10A that was driving my lifter (2 x 25mm Pololu HP motors, ~15A stall@12V each) after the lifter jammed.
Oh ok thanks for the numbers, I will just stick with 2 x 1000rpm motors and my 2x12 sabertooth lol. Might just get a smaller battery to take the weight out of it. I have a full ally body on order and some fingertech type wheels and hubs so wanted the electronics to be nice as well. Couldn't decide whether to go 4x4 or not but dont think I have the weight and the 2wd seems to push ok.
