Its always worth putting some LEDs on anyway as they both look great and incase the rules ever change in the future. Its easy to do and a piece of mind for me.
During the last beetleweight fights (aws 44) Dave deemed the LEDs not necessary but this can change instantly depending on the organizer of the next event.
If I recall correctly only two machines (out of 13) had an LED at that time
Same as normal. Be on when the robot is and off when the robot is off. But not needed. Failsafes, locking bars, sharp edge protection and removable links are.
