What stage are the Beetle comps at?

Was just wondering this this afternoon. Are there regular beetle meets yet? I wondered if they were on the back of the AWS meets and stuff? I'm itching to build a beetle and an ant but for some reason have a garage full of heavy parts lol.

Nothing regular as of now.
Still not had a popper competition and we are still a little way off a serious comp. After the next AWS they won't be linked with AWS's again.

Will the beetles come to deeside this year?

Depends first and foremost whether Robots Live are going to Deeside this year. It's been the UK Championship event for the past two years but this year's Champ event is in Stevenage, and I can't see any mention of Deeside on the Live Events thread.
