Some beetle help peeps!

I've been sat staring at a Roses tin all day with all the orrid ones left. I've decided it's perfect to build a beetle from. Please may you point me in the right direction of some gear motors and wheels? Also interested in which batteries you guys are using. Any links etc. much appreciated!!

Oh and which speedo's are you guys using?

P.S. don't expect anything other than a rolling Roses tin, this is my engineering we're talking about!

That's awesome, which wheels are you all using with these? How do you mount them?

Hiya,
Any wheel with a 4mm "D" shaft will fit these, or anything with a 4mm bore that has a grubscrew. The small banebots wheels and hubs have been used to great effect at this scale.
ESC wise, recommend a pair of 10 botbitz if you are only running 3s lipo or 12v.

for mounting the motors, there are some threads on the faceplate that you can use to mount, maybes using a bit of aluminium angle.
