For a beetleweight I have a bar laser cut from 10mm you can have. Got a nice set of spikes on it too. Just tell me your mum/dad is helping you with this one cos it can take your fingers clean off!! (that's not good by the way )
no, the bar is designed to fit directly onto a pulley. It's not good to fit the bar directly to the motor as it can break the motor. I'll count the number of teeth on the pulley for you and send you a link from technobots.
LOL.....ok, so this one hasn't tried to hurt me yet.
I'm just working on experience after taking the skin down to the bone when working on hydra with a drill which span a much smaller piece of metal (at 550rpm when your motor will spin the bar at around 6000rpm if you gear it down a bit). Five stitches, a kicking for getting blood all over the carpet, finger dipped in iodine a tetanus jab and a nurse wetting herself laughing cos i almost passed out because of the needle and hadn't even registered a response to the rest, I reckon the effect of this'd be worse.
