      Yeh i would say that as well, but I think you could have built one for as little as £30 (servo drive etc)

        Kookaburra cost me a bit less than 30.

        Drill battery-£free
        2x servos-£10
        Ally tread plate-£1.50 (scrapyard)
        Spectrum rx-£6
        Chopping board-£3.50
        Wheels-£free (off a pushchair I found smashed up)
        Bolts-£2

        Total:£23

        Of course this is just an example, but it can be done quite cheaply.

          My robot will have a spinning disk and it's only costing me £27.00 plus a 7.4 v battery only costed £2.00!

              Great now it's costing me 50 quid more so it's all together costing me 78 quid because the postage put up the price by a pound so instead of 27 quid it's costing 28 quid and I have anouther 50 pound to add so yeah it's 78 pound that's like a year of pocket money
