What website is the best place to get belts from? Hopefully something cheap, and technobots seem a tad expensive... But I may be wrong...

      Re: Belts and pulleys

Oh ok, another quick question, should I go for a O ring style belt, or a toothed belt? The motor side of it will have the correct pulley thing, but it's going strate on the drum of my robot, so it will be a round surface... So the toothed belts may not work as well... But the O ring belt won't be as strong, so I don't know which to use... Thanks

I wouldn't use timing belts (toothed belts) if the drum side won't have a pulley as it will reduce your grip because you have less surface area in contact with drum and the belt isn't designed to be grippy because it normally has the teeth. So I would go with a none toothed belt but preferable have a proper toothed pulley on the drum and on the motor and use timing belts

I just used Timing belts and pulleys from technobots, they do very small sizes and are quite cheap.

Find an online pulley calc to figure out what sizes you want for reduction and spacing.
