  • Spinner motor

Hi, looking to upgrade from a pushing box to a spinner- specifically a cutting disk (high speed, low weight). Wondering what motors people would suggest for this?
    Cheers,
    James

What kind of disc is it, an off the shelf part? Link us what you are looking at and that will give us a better idea.

Not sure exactly what yet, it'll either be an off the shelf dremel blade or something of similar weight and dimensions.
      Cheers

        Hi,

If you go to brushless motors, the inrunner would fit better on your project.

On our 2 antweight spinners we used this motor:

It seemed quite powerful but a bit to large and heavy, but is very cheap.

One additional question- is there a simple brushed speed controller that people use? It doesnt need weapon channels or anything. Ta

Hi, new question., thought I'd put it here to avoid spamming.
I've wired the drive motors up, and forward and backwards are fine but left and right are inverted. I cant figure out for myself how to flip left and right without upsetting forward and reverse. Any suggestions?
                    Cheers,
                    James
