    Hello
    I have 4 tower pro servos http://www.giantcod.co.uk/towerpro-sg50 ... -p-59.html
They are probarble fleaweight size, could any one make a video or something showing me how to modify them?
There is probarbly no-one who has these and I wouldnt reccommend them
    Thanks

    Re: modify tower pro servos

Don't worry those servos are fine for a fleaweight- I use them in Inertia XS1 and XS2

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eW9gVX7J ... ature=plcp

I would create a video to show you but I won't be back home for another couple of weeks.

    1. All you need to do to modify the servo is to open the case and remove the gears (take note of where they all go)

    2. Inside the case next to where the output gear pokes through there will be a small notch which stops the gear rotating all the way- remove that

    3. Next drill out the final gear (a 2mm drill is fine)

    4. Now connect the servo to the radio gear and switch it on.

    5. If the motor starts turning rotate the potentiometer (the shaft the final gear spins on) until the motor stops

    6. Glue the pot in position (superglue is best)

    7. place the gears back inside the case and reassemble the servo.

This will work but can be a little slow so I would suggest speed hacking them

    to do this

    1. remove the gear that sits below the output gear

    2. next glue the 2 gears in the middle shaft so that they spin together

    3. reassemble the servo and you are good to go
