Thats a big battery for a RX battery
I have a Simon Windisch design voltage regulator, I'll use that to kepp the volts down.

As a very inexperienced roboteer i hooked my planet 5 up to a 9 volt battery and I broke many servos but not the RX, I was using duracell rechargeable batteries btw.
