Hi all,
Weve been invited to this event, but are unable to attend (its a weekday and that means time off work). If you are interested in attending, please contact the organisers, NOT Team Tornado! We have nothing to do with the organisation of this event, and cannot comment on what it will be like - for instance I doubt their will be any form of robot arena so the potential for demonstrations will be limited.
I have posted the message below on behalf of the organisers.

Please can you forward this information to find out if anybody from the FRA can attend the event and do a demonstration, during all of the funday or part.
If someone can attend can they let me know. We have a meeting on Monday, so I will provisionally book space for some robots.
Community event - Friday Funday Part 2 - Friday 19th August 2005
At Whitton Sports Centre, Whitton Church Lane, Ipswich
From 11 am to 4pm - Come along and join in the summer activities
There will be:
- Information stands
- Games
- Table top sales
- Barbecue
- Refreshments
- Activities for under 5€™s
- Football
- Enter a team for it€™s a knockout
- Displays - majorettes, karate, fencing and more
- Fantastic prize draw and many more€¦€¦€¦
(Displays and stalls may change due to circumstances beyond our control)
