This creative personal fabrication studio and laboratory will open in the end of this month. They have 3d printers, laser cutters, cnc's, and people with degrees on design, marketing and engineering.
It's the first thing of this kind here in Portugal and i am sure it's going to help a lot of people on their projects.
It's near the school where my mother works, so i will for sure go there and check it out when it opens.
I've been thinking about building an antweight for some time, and in the Weproductise space i will have acesse to machines that i only dreamed of to build it. I just have to check prices for the 3d printing and such.
I saw the robot kits that BotBitz are developing and i really like them, and i am aiming for something like that for my antweight.It the prices aren't to high, i am thinking to even build 2 ants.
Thay also will have workshop on 3d printing, robotics and such and it would be a dream come true if they got interested in the 3d printed combat robots and let me have a small arena where people could try my two future ants. I am almost sure that atleast kids would love to fight them and be able to buy some kits.
My goal for now it to use their resources to build my ant, from that i will see what happens.
