Information
Cassius is a heavyweight robot that was built by Rex Garrod from Stowmarket. It was the second robot he built after Recyclopse and it was entered into Robot Wars Series 2. Here it did very well finishing runner-up in the grand-final to Panic Attack. Cassius also became the first ever robot to use a successful self-righting mechanism or srimech. Cassius has long been retired but it is occasionally out at events like Robot Rumble where it appears on display with some of the other Cassius robots, Steel Avenger, Stinger and Chaos 2.
