Information
White Knight was originally built in 2004 as Iron-Awe 3 by Team Iron-Awe. It was the 3rd Iron-Awe robot that the team had built. It was designed to be smaller, stronger and more powerful for future robot events after Robot Wars Series 7. Since then, its powerful flipper had done very well taking it to final of the Roaming Robots Winter Tour 2006 where it lost to Behemoth, the Robot Rumble 2006 Xmas Spectactular final at Godmanchester where it lost to Terrorhurtz and it also won the Easter Robot Rumble in 2007. In mid 2007, Team Iron-Awe sold Iron-Awe 3 due to them building a new robot and was sold to Erik Maartens of Team Wind-Power. Since then it was renamed to "L" temporarily as the driver was learning to drive it and it then got renamed and repainted to White Knight. After a few events throughout the years, it was sold again this time to Will Thomas of Team Shock who renamed it as Earthquake.
