Information
Pressure is the first robot to be built by Team Wind-Power from Essex. The first version was built in 2002 where it fought in the New Blood Championships of Robot Wars Extreme 2 where it was beaten by Cedric Slammer in its Heat final. Pressure has been rebuilt 4 times since then and is currently fighting as mark 4 which debuted in Robots Lives event at Hemel Hempstead in 2007 where it managed to win the event beating good robots Behemoth, Bigger Brother, Terrorhurtz and Big Nipper on the way when its armour was held on only by means of Velcro! It also won the 2008 Robot Rumble at Colchester and is one of the robots out there that fights with an on-board camera giving people a view of its fights through a robots POV. Pressure is well known for its very unique flipper which can flip a robot over and is very manoeuvrable.
