Information
Hellbent was built in 2003 originally by John Wilkinson and his family from Yelverton, Devon. It first entered Robot Wars Series 7 after failing to qualify for earlier series with a previous version where it reached the second round of its heat and was beaten by Atomic. After the last of Robot Wars was seen in 2004, Hellbent 2 was renamed Hellbent 2 and continued to fight in the live events that occurred around the UK held by the FRA. It was sold to a Wales based team, Team Smash sometime near 2009 who helped it win its qualifier match in the 2009 UK Championships against Tilly 2 Evo, but it didn't win other qualifier battles which didn't allow it to go through. In 2014, Hellbent 2 was sold once more to Team Toon Army from Newcastle who are trying to get it combat ready again.
