Information
Hassocks Hog 2 was built in 2003 as a successor to the teams previous robot Hassocks Hog which lost round 1 of its heat in the 6th series of Robot Wars. Hassocks Hog 2 fought in Robot Wars series 7 but also fell in the first round. The robot is well known for having an affection for House Robot Matilda, having furry ears that can get set alight and also wearing pants that can be exposed when it gets flipped! Hassocks Hog 2 has fought a few times in the live events like the Robodome event at Brighton Modelworld in 2004 and Robots Live! at Burgess-Hill in 2008. The robot was built by the Poncelet family after his 3 sons were all huge fans on Robot Wars so they convinced him with also a bit of encouragement from his wife Jude.
